‘First, Last, For Everything (dub version)’ by Endgames (1982)

This dub is pure fire. It is such a favorite that I even debated posting it here. But you know what? Life is way too short for that type of a whording mentality! I sure hope you mystery music hunters enjoy it. Just remember where you got this one, ok? This dub version was mixed by Ray “Pinky” Velazquez. Ray had his hands on many classic records during this era, such as “Over Like a Fat Rat” by Fonda Rae, and “Electric Kingdom” by Twilight 22. He mixed another one of my favorites that I may post here soon IF YOU’RE LUCKY! This record has a simple arrangement, but it’s very effective.

Here is one hugely satisfied 'mystery music hunter', this is da freakin' bomb as the young people used to say and just when you thought it could not get any better, the breakdown near the end takes us into new dimensions of coolness and joy, Pinky was most definitely touched by the hand of god when he came up with this mix...at Bob Blank's studio perhaps?

On a separate note, I really admire the fact that this is something you love AND rare as rocking horse sh*t, two things which stop many people posting a particular record and I really understand it, you go to all that time, effort, expense and from one perspective you feel as though people have not 'earned the right' to listen to it and making it widely available somehow 'devalues' it in terms of scarcity.....on the other hand, an MP3 is not the record itself just as the menu is not the meal and really you have not even made a 'copy' in the sense of artefact duplication....I wish more people were like you then I would finally get to hear Marzio's 'Smoke On The Volcano' album ;)

I forgot to add, you mentioned you had a Ray “Pinky” Velazquez 'secret weapon' that you may unleash on the primative human brains one day...sir, I venture to suggest that day has come...fire at will!!!
