‘Fog’ by Riccardo Cioni (1984)

Here’s a deep cut. This is Miami Vice montage music. You can picture Crockett rolling deep in the white Testarossa. Some ill shit just went down. It’s time to get serious. The hot chick he met at the beginning of the episode is [surprisingly] connected to the drug dealer he and Tubbs are trying to take down. And what’s this? They took her hostage because they know that Crockett cares about her. He is ready to throw down. Those nerdy dudes in the van are peeling out too, ready for some recon. Lt. Castillo is still not smiling. That cat never smiles. According to the center label ‘Fog’ was written, arranged, and programmed by ‘S. Head.’ Whoever that dude is, he really held it. Through the fog.

Thanks so much for still keeping the link to the Riccardo Cioni 'Fog' track live, such a high quality rip and it so great to hear it without crackles and pops! Simply one of the best "electro" tracks of the eighties and astonishing it is not more well known.

I noticed in the comments section that the guy from Arawa FM mentioned he had the Riccardo Cioni album, you ever heard of it? Its not on Discogs as far as I can tell but on searching i found someone had posted a link on the Odimusic site but unfortunately the RS links were dead...it seemed to contain a few of his 12 Inch releases so I am wondering whether its a bootleg.

You ever posted the other two tracks from the Fog 12 Inch? I would love to hear them in really good quality (as I mentioned my rip is from my old 12 Inch and it sounds so crackly!).

Thanks again for sharing.

I actually found the entire album by Riccardo Cioni from 1984, its a really good rip at 320 MP3 and has some amazing tracks on it...well worth a listen or three....1984 the last year before Italo-disco became Italo-muzak with the odd exception.

Anyway for anyone inner-res-dead, check..check..check it out:
