‘Change Your Mind’ by Sharpe & Numan (1985)

I absolutely love the production on this record. ‘80’s synths to the max, sample stabs, roto toms, a PPG Wave solo (I think) and of course Gary Numan. The mix is fantastic too. Bill Sharpe? I don’t know anything about this guy, but he held it down on this track. Whoever owned this record before me beat up the beginning a little bit, so you’ll here some crackling. The Nitty Gritty can’t fill in scratches. Otherwise this record sounds fantastic. Change your minds.

Dear Zartek, Thank you for teaching me what "arpeggiated" means. Also, this Sharpe & Numan record is brillz. A consistent repeat offender on my headphones. Love, Your Space Buddy

amazing track. one of my faves from highschool 12" shopping, pulled it out last month and had to play it three times. has that melancholic bittersweet sound that i can't get over. good choice for number one.

The 80s music was so good and this track is one of my favourite's. I have it in my collection and I enjoy it whenever I get time. It is a pleasure hearing it again and again.
